FUT Champions Rewards Guide

What each rank from Champion V to Elite I actually gets you, how wins translate to rank, and whether the climb to the top is worth the extra games.

How Rank Is Decided

FUT Champions runs as a weekly cycle: you play your matches across the qualifying window, and your total wins by the end determine your final rank. That rank - not your win/loss ratio, not your points - is what your reward tier is based on.

The scale runs from Champion V at the bottom up through Champion IV, III, II, I, then into the Elite tiers, Elite V through Elite I at the very top. Each step up needs more wins than the last.

Exact win requirements can shift slightly between EA's own seasonal balancing updates - treat this as the general shape of the ladder, not a locked-in guarantee for every cycle.

How Reward Quality Scales

The general pattern holds every season, even when exact numbers shift: each rank tier up gives you better pack odds, higher-rated guaranteed picks, and a higher average coin payout than the tier below it. The jump from the top of Champion into the bottom of Elite is usually the most noticeable step up in reward quality on the whole ladder.

  • Champion tier (V-I) rewards are solid for the effort - a realistic target if you're playing casually across the week.
  • Elite tier (V-I) rewards step up meaningfully - better picks, better pack contents, and a noticeably higher coin floor.
  • Elite I specifically sits at the top of the whole reward structure for the week - the best of everything on offer.

Is Climbing Higher Worth It?

That depends entirely on how many extra games it costs you. Going from Champion III to Champion I might only be a couple of extra wins if you're already playing well. Going from the top of Champion into Elite territory is a much bigger ask - it usually means a genuinely tough run of matches against stronger opposition, not just "play a couple more games."

Short on time, not skill? If your win rate is fine but you don't have a free weekend to grind 15 games, a FUT Champions boost gets a verified player to hit your target rank on your account, so you still collect the higher-tier rewards without playing every match yourself.

FAQ

How are FUT Champions rewards decided?

Your final rank after your matches for the week determines your reward tier. Rank is based on total wins, with each threshold unlocking a higher rank from Champion V up to Elite I.

How many wins do I need for Elite rank?

Elite I typically needs around 15 wins, with each Elite tier below needing one fewer. Champion ranks start lower, from around 6 wins for Champion V.

Is it worth grinding to Elite instead of stopping at Champion?

Reward quality scales meaningfully with rank - higher tiers give better pack odds and more coins on average. Whether it's worth the extra games depends on your available time and skill level.

Do rewards refresh every week?

Yes. FUT Champions runs as a weekly cycle - qualification, match days, then rewards based on that week's final rank before it resets.

Can I pay someone to get my rank instead of playing it?

Yes. Boosting services complete the matches for you and hand the account back once your target rank is hit, so you collect the rewards without playing yourself.
